There’s nothing quite like the magic of a surprise proposal, and Keven and Emily’s special moment at Brenton Point State Park in Newport, Rhode Island was one for the books! A few months before the proposal, Keven reached out to me with the sweetest idea: he wanted to surprise Emily with a proposal overlooking the ocean at one of their favorite places. From the start, it was clear how much thought and love he poured into every detail. He had planned multiple day trips and dates just to throw Emily off! In the end, she was very much surprised! Together, we planned out the perfect spot at Brenton Point, a stunning location where the rocky coastline meets the beautiful ocean, creating a picture-perfect backdrop for such a life-changing moment.
The Proposal
When the day arrived, the weather was beautiful, and everything came together perfectly. Keven led Emily to the spot we had chosen, and with the ocean breeze surrounding them, he dropped to one knee and asked her to spend forever with him.
After the proposal, we spent some time capturing a mini engagement session around Brenton Point. The soft golden hour light was dreamy, and the excitement on their faces made every photo so special. Keven had one more surprise up his sleeve: He ended the evening with a romantic dinner in Newport to celebrate their engagement. What Emily didn’t know though was that both of their families would be there to surprise them!
