Studio Bridal Session On Film: Christina

Wedding days are beautiful, emotional, and, let’s be honest, often a little bit rushed. That’s exactly why I always recommend adding a bridal session before the big day. It’s the perfect chance to get creative, feel confident in front of the camera, and capture gorgeous portraits without the pressure of a wedding-day timeline. That’s exactly what we did for Christina, one of my amazing brides!

We met at Nile Scott Studios in Boston, a stunning space with beautiful lighting and plenty of backdrops to play with. Christina had her makeup trial the same day, so it was the perfect opportunity to feel wedding-ready without any added stress. She brought a beautiful dress, we played around with poses and angles, and the entire session felt fun and effortless.

Why do I recommend bridal sessions?

  • They give you time to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day.

  • You’ll get creative, editorial-style bridal portraits that might be hard to squeeze in on a busy wedding day.

  • It’s a chance to test out your hair and makeup and see how it photographs.

  • Most importantly, it’s simply a moment to feel beautiful, confident, and celebrated as a bride!

Christina’s session was everything I love about these shoots: creative, calm, and full of joy. I can’t wait for her wedding day, knowing we’ve already built that comfort and confidence in front of the camera.

If you’re a bride-to-be, I can’t recommend booking a bridal portrait session enough. It’s one of the best ways to take the stress off your wedding day and ensure you have plenty of stunning, timeless portraits to look back on.
